Congratulations to Central and South Genomics’ Lead Nurse Philandra Costello and Lead Midwife Karen Creed, who won a Kind, Connected & Bold award from University Hospitals Birmingham for their work embedding genomic medicine into routine healthcare through education, outreach and engagement. Both Phil and Karen work tirelessly on a range of projects, collaborating with colleagues and communities across our region to improve patient outcomes.
As part of their roles, Karen is closely involved with the Generation Study, and Phil leads on our EDI strategy and rollout. It’s fantastic to see them get the recognition they so deserve with this award; congratulations to you both!
