Dr Padraig Dixon is Associate Director in Health Economics, CAS GMSA. He is senior researcher in health economics at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, University of Oxford, junior research fellow in social sciences at the Centre for Personalised Medicine, and honorary research fellow at the MRC Integrated Epidemiology Unit at the University of Bristol. His research interests relate to economic issues associated with the increasing availability of genetic data, particularly in relation to how these data might be used to support causal inference, prognostic modelling, and in the evaluation of the cost-effectiveness of stratified therapies.
