Introduction

Penny joined the NHS Genetic Laboratories after completing her PhD, moving to the Oxford Lab in 1994. She has worked consistently in rare disease throughout her career, predominantly in neurology and ophthalmology. Her professional roles have included HSST and RCPath, UKEGG and NHSE Rare Disease Interpretation and reporting working group.
